Inexpensive but good
Immediately upon receiving this duvet and the two included pillowcases, I washed it and put it on my king down comforter (which I got at Bed Bath and Beyond, the brand is "Royal Velvet" if anyone is curious, I recommend it highly as well). The fabric is moderately thin and I suppose that some people would find 250 TC inadequate, but it is precisely what I wanted in terms of quality and thickness, as the climate where I live is cool enough to require a comforter but never drops below freezing, so I don't want the comforter to get any warmer. The texture is a nicely subtle striped pattern, quite soft, and the cover seems to be sewn well enough, with the comforter fitting perfectly within. The opening has a lot of buttons which are somewhat tedious to undo, but I guess that's a good thing. I'm pleasantly surprised and would recommend this to anyone looking for a duvet under $50.

Happy so far . . .
Although the color is nothing like it shows in the picture ("Taupe"), I actually like it much better than the picture. It is more the color of a light chocolate vs. boring anemic tan, which goes better with the rest of my ensemble. I have not washed it yet, so will report back on that. I am happy with the quality of the set and extremely happy with the price. I have looked for a simple duvet for a comforter to use as a blanket, not a bedspread, and have looked at various stores and online and have yet to find one this cheap. Another web site has what appears to be the exact same thing for $49.99 plus $2.95 shipping. Since I'm a Prime shopper at Amazon, shipping was free. Love that! Good purchase overall (and, there are a lot of choices in colors, too).

A beautiful look for the bedroom ....
After looking at Bed in a Bag sets for what seemed like hours, I finally settled on this one. And I am very glad I did - it arrived in a timely manner, and is just beautiful. Nice heavy material (not too heavy, though), seems well made, covers my queen size platform bed perfectly. None of this "double/queen" size stuff - this is truly a queen size comforter. And the pillow shams and pillows look very nice as well. The color is a very soft plum, highlighted with sort of a bronze-plum look for the bamboo branches. That doesn't describe it very well but it's the best I can do. The sheets are nothing real special, but seem adequate for the price, and they're a nice contrasting cream color. I think they're comfortable to sleep on. Overall I'm very satisfied with this set and can find nothing negative to say about it. It really is pretty, dresses up my bedroom very well, and is a good deal for the price.

WONDERFUL, very nice
I have really enjoyed my sheets so far. I would defiantly buy this product again, and maybe go an even higher thread count next time. I suggest looking no further if you want a nice pair of sheets. My only grip is that they were not as thick as I would like. They are not thin by any means just not as thick as I would like them to be.

Beautiful!
I purchased this set for my 13 year old daughter, and she loves it!! It comes with comforter, sham, shirt and valance. I did wash it first before I put it on her bed and the cotton on the inside bunched up, I tried to flatten it, but couldn't get it all to lay flat. The colors did not fade, like I've read in other reveiws, it stayed turn to it's original color.

Super Soft
I hate comforters that are scratchy or slick. This is perfectly soft just as I hoped it would be. The colors are beautiful in both the bedspread and the pillows. Over all a very nice set. Very happy.

So comfy cozy!
Have been looking for a bed set for a while. Needed to be soft and cozy and not too slick or scratchy, so I was looking for Cotton. This set is very comfortable, nice design that is nice balance of not too girly and not to masculine. I have not washed it yet but the label on the comforter has directions for machine washing and I have a front load so hopefully is will hold up. I would describe the blue color as a robin's egg blue.
