These Sticks are G-R-E-A-T!
These are probally the best sticks I've ever had. A friend recommended these to me and ever since I have used them. These drumsticks are very light and thin, so therefore they are best for quick, fast, and long pices. They're also good for long drumrolls and smashing the symbals. My expirience with these sticks has been great! If you buy these I would recommend the ones with the wooden tips. Where I bought mine they were expensive, but on Amazon.com you can get them for a decent price. Compared to my old ones these are way better.

Nice and light
Our son enjoys using these nice light sticks. He has a wide variety of sticks for practice and performance, and he's very pleased with these.

Super versatile. Awesome feel, control and rebound. Of the many sticks I own these are one of my faves. Just awesome.

Nice sticks.
I like these sticks and there is not a thing wrong with them. They just don't feel as comfortable as some of my other sticks, but you will never know until you try something different.
A perfect choice for drum sets
I purchased these sticks on July as my very first sticks after testing a few at my teacher's.
The grip is great and their point of balance is marked with flags, which helps beginners find the right way to hold them.
The tips are rather small and therefore they product great sound on acoustic drum sets, but it may not be optimal for very beginners who practice the rudiments.
A colleague drummer found them a bit slippery (they feel somewhat waxed or coated with Nylon), but I find it perfect for getting the rebound right.
I've been using them for more than 70 hours and they're in good shape despite my intensive drumming. I'd say they're quite durable.

nice stick
Trying to find a replacement for the Sheila E stick I used for years that they quit making. This is close. Little longer than most sticks, but very sleek, good tip and easy to control. Nice "club" stick for a venue needing less volume and attack than a bigger heavier stick.

Love Em'
Any drummer, no matter what kind will love these sticks.

I have used them everywhere from concert snare solos to marching as quad sticks. They feature a unique tip that helps for better rebound, and a white overcoat. The best thing that I can say about these sticks is that they are extremely durable!! I have had 7 or 8 pairs, and I have only broken 1 or 2 the rest just got so splintery and crappy looking that I had to replace them.

If your truly into drumming, check out a pair, you will NOT be sorry!

i have a set and these sticks are really great. they look amazing too.. although i have had them for 6 months and they are starting to look a little shabby... but id say they are worth a little extra money, even for a beginner
Great Sticks
I have been drumming for a long time and these are the best sticks I have ever used. I do not know if it is Buddy's spirit in them or just that they are another fine product from Vic Firth. But I do know that the feel, balance, bounce, and weight of these sticks provide a real sweet spot in my drumming that is missing when I play with other sticks.

I played mainly with my first pair of these until they were a bit worn and then left them alone for a time. When I picked them back up, I rediscovered a level of agility and precision that had been absent from my playing with the other sticks in my bag. Groovy.
