Not what I expected
The stick part doesn't screw in to the base all the way. It looks cheeply made. It looks like the treads on the base will strip fairly easy. The stick part has seams which could scratch the inside of the flute. I bought this for my daughter and she has already told me she will not use it.

Excellent stand.
This is a great stand and very sturdy. It looks nice with my daughter's Native American flute on it. Very good display stand and it keeps the flute safe.
