Amazing Bundle Sticks!
Great rebound and durable. MUCH BETTER THAN PRO MARK HOT RODS!! I can be me at a comfortable volume level and have the same feel as a stick. It's because of the rebound. Pro Mark Hot Rods dont' have good rebound. You have to make an effort to make a roll. Even though I think they're GREAT, as I said in my Pro Mark review, they don't have the rebound of a stick. These DO!! (I purchased the Bamboo for normal low volume grooves. Get the Birch if you want REALLY sensitive stuff!)

Good For What It Is
This is a well-made rod that hasn't fallen apart on me. It is very lightweight and it does indeed bounce similar to a stick. However, it is tremendously light and so they really don't pack much of a punch...which is good for low-level playing. They are much softer than Vic Firth's regular Rutes. If you need more volume, go with the Rutes, BUT if you'd like a rod to bounce closer to a stick for double-stroke rolls, then this is the rod for you.
Great Sticks
I received a pair for Christmas and I have been using them a lot to keep the noise of my set down for the rest of the family. I have been really beating them up and they have held up great. They are more expensive than other brands but they are worth it.
