The addition of heat and moisture eliminates the effectiveness of phosphate finishes resulting in immediate corrosion once installed in the vehicle.

Replacements for 2008 Toyota Highlander
I'm glad I went with these premium rotors vs. the standard version. The non contact surfaces are coated for extra corrosion resistance. They went on without a hitch and the overall machining seemed on par with the OEMs. I don't regret my purchase.
